All linked by kinship ties, European royal families were confronted with the rise and coming to power of fascism and Nazism. Voluntarily or involuntarily, they found themselves at the heart of Hitler's political and diplomatic chessboard. How did they react? How to explain the complex links between the rulers and these totalitarian powers?
Maud Guillaumin's latest documentary, Royals at War, will be screened for the first time on Saturday, October 10 at 2:30 PM at the Rendez-vous de l'Histoire, a major festival for historical programs held each year in Blois.
